Since 2003, Bike Wreckers, C4's partner business, has been giving broken bikes second lives — salvaged, stripped, tested and shipped worldwide from Yorkshire. More than twenty years of working with motorcycles teaches you a lot: which bikes are worth saving, which parts can be trusted, and what separates a machine that's merely running from one that's truly right.
C4 Motorcycles is what happens when that experience meets a lifelong passion.
The Boy in the Garage
For C4's founder, motorcycles have never been just a job. They've been an obsession since childhood. Long before there was a business, there were magazines under the bed, dreams of open roads, old motorcycles to play with, and countless hours spent in the garage taking things apart just to see how they worked.
At school, teachers told him he was too smart to spend his life fixing bikes. So he followed a different path. But some passions never leave you. Every spare moment found its way back to the garage. A lifetime spent chasing the satisfaction that comes from solving problems with grease under your fingernails and the smell of brake fluid in your nostrils as you breathe life back into a broken bike.
Never Just Fixing Bikes
Because it's never just been about fixing bikes...
It's about understanding the mechanics of them.
It's about having the right tool for the job — and knowing why it's the right tool.
It's about finding the perfect part, and the joy when you kickstart it and feel the bike thunder through you like it's enjoying life again.
