Accessibility
We want this site to work for everyone who wants a part or a bike — not just people using a mouse.
What works today
- Keyboard: every page — menus, filters, forms, checkout — is navigable without a mouse.
- Headings: one clear heading per page, structured in order, so screen readers and skim-readers both make sense of it.
- Images: catalogue parts and bikes carry alt text describing what's in the photo, not just a filename.
- Forms and filters: ordering a part, sending an enquiry, filtering the parts catalogue — all of it works with JavaScript switched off.
- Colour: the whole site is designed on a dark theme from the ground up, not a light theme with the colours inverted.
Where we're still improving

The image carousels have extra paging buttons for a mouse or touch pointer. They're a bonus, not a requirement — the underlying gallery still scrolls and swipes natively without them.

Some parts of the site are someone else's software: Stripe's checkout page and the Google Maps embed on Contact. They have their own accessibility, which we don't control.

We haven't run a formal WCAG audit yet. What's above is what we've built and checked ourselves, not a certified result.
